Getting from Incheon Airport to your hotel in Myeongdong

Compare the walk to your Myeongdong hotel from the nearest station exit and the 6015 bus stop. The transfer at Seoul Station, your luggage and your arrival time can help you choose the better route.

Getting from Incheon Airport to your hotel in Myeongdong

The easiest way to choose is to see whether your hotel entrance is closer to a Myeongdong Station exit or a stop on bus 6015. AREX requires a transfer to Line 4 or a taxi at Seoul Station; the bus leaves you with a walk from your stop to the hotel. If there are three or four of you, you are travelling with children or older people, or you have a lot of luggage, compare a taxi from the airport's designated rank as well.[1][2][3][5][6][8]

Fares and what each journey covers

The fares and times below were checked on official pages on September 12, 2026. Look up the fare and timetable for your travel date before setting off. Train times exclude the walk to the airport platform, waiting time and the onward journey from Seoul Station. Bus journey times depend on road conditions.

• AREX All-Stop Train: Fares vary by journey, card type and age.[3] The ride to Seoul Station takes about 59 minutes from T1 or 66 minutes from T2; some trains take an extra 2–6 minutes.[2] Seats are not reserved, and you continue from Seoul Station by Line 4 or taxi. It is worth comparing for one or two people travelling light.

• AREX Express Train: The standard adult fare is 18,100 won from T1 or 18,700 won from T2; the child fare is 9,500 won.[3] The ride to Seoul Station takes about 43 minutes from T1 or 51 minutes from T2, with a separate ticket and a reserved seat.[1] Look for discounts when booking. Travel beyond Seoul Station is separate.

• Airport limousine bus 6015: The listed fare for the premium direct service to Seoul was 17,000 won for adults and 12,000 won for children.[6] It takes you to stops in the Myeongdong area and has a luggage compartment, but is affected by traffic.[5] Include the walk from your actual stop to your accommodation in the comparison.

• Standard taxi: Seoul's metered fare starts at 4,800 won, with the total reflecting distance, congestion, tolls and surcharges.[8] A taxi can take you to your hotel entrance, but ask whether the vehicle can fit everyone and all your suitcases.

From Seoul Station to Myeongdong

For the All-Stop Train, follow the All-Stop Train signs in the airport transportation centre. It calls at intermediate stations and has no reserved seating, so whether you can sit depends on seat availability.[2] At Seoul Station, continue to Myeongdong Station on Line 4 or take a taxi, depending on your hotel's location. The Express Train runs nonstop from T1 and T2 to Seoul Station and has reserved seats. You need a separate ticket rather than a transport card.[1] Compare the two train services according to whether you would rather save on the fare or have a seat reserved for the ride to Seoul Station. You still need to make your own way from there to Myeongdong.

If a 6015 stop is closer to your hotel

Find your stop on the 6015 route map, then trace the walk to your hotel entrance.[5] Stops within the Myeongdong area can leave you with quite different walks. With children and heavy luggage, compare that walk with the walking involved in changing trains at Seoul Station.

The airport lists T1 bus ticket offices on the first floor indoors beside exits 4 and 9, as well as near several exits outside. At T2, tickets are sold in the bus terminal on basement level 1 of the transportation centre. Late at night, ticket-office, machine and app arrangements differ by service. Arriving late or taking a taxi

Judge whether you can catch the last service from the time you finish immigration and collect your bags, rather than your scheduled landing time. At the time of the check, night bus N6701 was listed as running via Seoul Station and Euljiro Entrance to Dongdaemun Design Plaza, with an adult fare of 18,000 won.[9] Check the departure time and ticketing arrangements for your travel date, along with the route from the Euljiro Entrance stop to your hotel.

Use the airport's designated taxi ranks rather than following anyone touting for passengers. T1 and T2 have different rank numbers.[8] Standard taxis to Seoul use a meter, and a surcharge of about 20–40% may apply between 22:00 and 04:00, depending on the hour. Before a vehicle is assigned, ask whether it can accommodate everyone and all your suitcases.[8]
