Luggage Storage and Delivery in Seoul and Busan
Compare hotel desks, station lockers, staffed storage, airport and Seoul–Busan delivery, with full-locker fallbacks and a valuables checklist.
Luggage storage and delivery in Seoul and Busan
The right choice depends on whether you need a few hours after checkout, an airport transfer, or a bag sent between Seoul and Busan. Use this order: ask your accommodation → check station lockers → use staffed storage → book delivery. Information was checked on 17 September 2026. Recheck prices, hours, cut-offs, eligible hotels and size limits immediately before paying.[1][2][3][8]
Choose in 30 seconds
• Before check-in/after checkout at the same property: ask reception first and confirm collection time.
• Returning to the same station in a few hours: use a locker, but large compartments can fill early.
• Large bag or app/payment difficulty: try staffed T-Luggage or an official Busan visitor facility.[1][3]
• Incheon/Gimpo ↔ Seoul hotel: verify terminal, hand-off cut-off and whether reception accepts bags.[2][8]
• Seoul ↔ Busan: prebook a dedicated intercity service and check minimum bag count and late delivery time.[8]
1. Hotel storage: ask here first
Your own hotel desk is normally simplest, but storage before check-in or after checkout is not guaranteed. Guesthouses, unmanned properties and residences may lack staff or space. Confirm booking number, stay date, bag count and size, drop-off and collection times in writing. Storage at another hotel or for several days is a different request.
Keep passports, cash, cards, laptops, cameras, medicine, jewellery and keys with you. Declare fragile items, chilled goods or anything that may leak; preferably do not leave them at all.

2. Seoul station lockers and staffed counters
Seoul’s official guide describes hourly T-Lockers in small, medium and large sizes. New lockers use the T-Locker app for availability, payment and access; the app may be Korean-focused, while older units follow instructions on the cabinet. Access also depends on station operating hours.[1] Save the line, floor, exit, locker number and unlocking method—not only the station name.
T-Luggage provides staffed storage and delivery at listed hubs such as Seoul Station, Hongik University, Myeong-dong and Gimpo Airport. Locations and acceptance deadlines can change, so use the official booking page.[1][2] Ask whether large suitcases, strollers or sports equipment are accepted and retain the receipt and compensation terms.
If lockers are full: switch quickly to (1) live T-Locker availability, (2) staffed storage in the station, (3) your hotel, (4) a nearby major interchange, or (5) a reservable private counter. Avoid collection near the last train; aim to return 30–60 minutes before closing.

3. Airport delivery: there are two cut-offs
For airport-to-hotel service, the key time is when you hand over the bag after arrival; for hotel-to-airport, it is when reception releases it. Enter the correct terminal, flight date, hotel names and address in Korean and English, booking name, staffed-reception status and promised collection time. Airbnb and unmanned properties may require a service hub instead.[2][8]
On departure day, do not confuse the courier’s delivery estimate with the airline bag-drop deadline. Leave a large buffer. Never send your passport, wallet, medicine, electronics or spare batteries. Power banks and dangerous goods have aviation restrictions; reconfirm with your airline.[5]
4. Busan: station facilities and Gimhae Airport
At Busan Station, check locker signs and ask the tourist information desk for current directions. The official listing for Busan Travel Lounge, opposite the station, gives separate luggage-storage hours that may not equal the building’s full hours.[3] The Busan Station Tourist Information Center is another official help point.[4]

For Gimhae Airport storage or delivery, distinguish domestic and international terminals and the operator’s counter. Check KAC terminal information, then reconfirm same-day opening with the service provider.[6] For Haeundae or Gwangalli, verify that the actual hotel desk will accept the bag before booking.

5. Seoul–Busan intercity delivery
Commercial operators may sell same-day or dated hotel-to-hotel service. Goodlugg, for example, publishes Seoul–Busan routes, cut-offs, collection windows and minimum-bag conditions.[8] This is not a KORAIL service and is not linked to your rail ticket. Before paying, check eligible hotels, minimum quantity, dimensions, hand-off photo, tracking, delay/loss compensation and cancellation. Check your KTX separately with KORAIL.[7]
Keep one change of clothes, toiletries, medicine, charger and documents in a day bag. You should be able to manage the first night if delivery is late or reception cannot locate the bag.
Prohibited valuables and hand-off checklist
As a safe general rule, exclude passports/ID, cash and securities, cards, jewellery, costly electronics, fragile goods, live items, perishable or leaking food, dangerous goods and illegal items. Each operator’s exclusions and liability limit differ; read the terms and ask with a photo when unclear. For any bag connecting to a flight, recheck batteries, liquids and aerosols with the airline.[5]
At hand-off: (1) photograph the exterior and existing damage, (2) add name, phone and destination, (3) remove old airline tags, (4) close the zips, (5) save receipt/locker/tracking details, and (6) confirm recipient and final time. At collection, check count, damage and contents before leaving.
Final rule
Retrievability matters more than convenience. Confirm that you can return before closing, an unmanned property can actually receive the bag, and airport delivery leaves a safe flight buffer. Recheck once the day before and again that morning.
