Seokchon Lake: a walk shaped by the water

Stay close to children near the water and slow down in crowds. Flowers and events are seasonal, so do not build the whole day around an assumed display.

Olympic Park: more room to set your own pace

Olympic Park suits a family that wants to alternate walking and resting within extensive grounds.[S2][S3] Agree on an entrance and meeting point first. Open space is an advantage, but it can also make the return tiring for small children; decide where to turn around before setting off.

A quick family decision

• For a shorter outing focused on lake views and photos, choose Seokchon Lake.[S1]

• For flexible walking and pauses across a larger park, choose Olympic Park.[S2]

• With a stroller or young child, check the chosen entrance, restrooms and accessible segment on the current map rather than assuming every path works equally well.[S3]

• In rain or a weather alert, cut back outdoor time or postpone.

If you want to see both

Plan a separate transfer between the sites. The lakeside path does not simply continue into Olympic Park.
