A ticket marked “Jeonju” does not put every traveler at the same curb. The city distinguishes Jeonju Station, the airport-bus limousine terminal, the express bus terminal and the intercity bus terminal. Match the name on your ticket to your lodging address before searching for the final leg.

Identify the place where you actually get off

• Jeonju Station (전주역) — 680 Dongbu-daero, Deokjin-gu. The train arrival point.

• Jeonju Limousine Terminal (전주리무진터미널) — 30 Yuyeon-ro, Wansan-gu. The airport-bus arrival point in the city's guide; “limousine” does not mean a shuttle onward to your hotel.

• Jeonju Express Bus Terminal (전주고속버스터미널) — 70 Garinae-ro, Deokjin-gu.

• Jeonju Intercity Bus Terminal (전주시외버스터미널) — 30 Garinae-ro, Deokjin-gu. Close to the express terminal, but not the same building.

These names and addresses come from Jeonju City's arrival guide. Use the actual stop on your ticket or service notice. If your bus is scheduled to let you off at an intermediate stop, route from that stop instead of forcing one of the four terminals into the map.

Choose the last leg from your gateway

From Jeonju Station: Set 전주역 (680 Dongbu-daero) as the origin and your lodging's full street address as the destination. If a city-bus route appears, trace the walk from the station exit to the boarding stop, check which side of the road to use, then inspect the walk from the drop-off to the lodging entrance. If luggage or a late arrival makes those walks awkward, compare a taxi. Do not assume a tourist shuttle starts at the station.

From Jeonju Limousine Terminal: Start a new local trip at 전주리무진터미널 (30 Yuyeon-ro), not at Jeonju Station or the express terminal. Check whether a boarding stop near this terminal and the walk after alighting suit your lodging; otherwise compare a taxi. A direct airport-to-Jeonju coach is not a door-to-door transfer to Hanok Village.

From the express or intercity terminal: Start at 전주고속버스터미널 (70 Garinae-ro) or 전주시외버스터미널 (30 Garinae-ro) respectively. If a suggested city-bus stop appears closer to the other terminal, check its exact boarding position and travel direction before walking there. The city describes the two terminals as roughly a three-minute walk apart; for your return, check the building on your ticket again. This decision begins after you step off, not with long-distance booking.

Give the map an address, not just “Hanok Village”

Find your lodging's street address, entrance and check-in point in the booking confirmation. If you are sightseeing before check-in, Hanok Village Tourist Information Center, at 99 Girin-daero, Wansan-gu, is a useful named destination—but it is not your guesthouse's address. A different side of the village may mean an avoidable walk with bags.

Show a taxi driver the Korean address and ask your host where a vehicle can stop. For a bus, search current directions from your actual drop-off to the lodging entrance, then open Jeonju City's bus-service information in English: check the suggested route and use the “Bus Stop” tab to confirm the boarding stop's name, position and predicted arrival. Stop names may still appear in Korean. Check travel direction and the final walk; if the stop or walk does not work for you, compare a taxi. Predictions can change, and a route number on an old tourist map does not confirm today's service.

Let luggage and arrival time make the final call

With a light bag in daylight, compare the current city-bus journey with the walk from its drop-off. With a large suitcase, rain or a late arrival, a taxi may simplify the transfer; confirm the lodging's actual drop-off and check-in instructions because the last few steps may still be on foot. The tourist information center can help with directions, but check its current hours and luggage-service conditions before relying on it.

Jeonju's free Hanok Village shuttle runs between Hanok Village Public Parking Lot No. 4 and Taejo-ro via Jaman Mural Village. It is not a pickup from Jeonju Station or any of these arrival terminals. Decide in this order: actual drop-off, exact lodging or village destination, then the transport that connects the two today.
