Incheon Airport to Seoul: A First-Timer’s Limousine Bus Guide

A practical guide to routes, T1/T2 ticketing, platforms, baggage, night buses, missed departures, and arrival in Seoul.

The essential first-timer guide

An airport limousine bus can take a visitor with luggage close to a Seoul hotel without a transfer. Ticketing, platforms, fares, and schedules vary by route, operator, and terminal. **Checked: September 10, 2026.** Traffic, weather, and operating conditions can cause changes, so recheck the official pages immediately before travel.

• Confirm T1 or T2 on your flight details.

• Save the hotel's exact English name, address, and nearest bus stop.

• Check route number, direction, operator, platform, and last departure officially.

• Allow **1–2 hours after flight arrival for immigration** when booking.

• Keep the ticket and baggage claim tag until you leave the bus.

• For a late arrival, check both the last regular bus and night routes.

Step 1: Find the exact stop, not just the hotel

Ask the hotel, “What is the nearest Incheon Airport limousine stop and route number?” Save the address on a map, then verify the stop order and final walk in the official route search. It lists examples such as 6001 Dongdaemun, 6015 Myeongdong, 6005 City Hall, 6020 Yeoksam, 6103 Samseong, 6701 City Hall/Gwanghwamun, and 6703 Gangnam/COEX; examples do not guarantee current service.

Step 2: Know T1 from T2

At **Terminal 1**, buses depart outside the first floor in category-based areas. At **Terminal 2**, use the bus terminal in the B1 Transportation Center; Seoul buses are in the central B1 area. Going to the wrong terminal can add substantial time, so verify the actual arrival terminal first.

Step 3: Buy the ticket in the right place

At T1, ticket/information booths are inside near exits 4 and 9 and outside near exits 4, 6, 7, 8, 11, and 13. At T2, find ticketing and information at the B1 Transportation Center bus terminal. Show staff the hotel address and route number, then reconfirm the nearest stop, departure, and platform.

Step 4: Do not assume one payment rule

Rules differ by operator. K Airport Limousine generally describes card/Tmoney acceptance, but says airport-departing buses use reservation tickets. Do not promise yourself universal onboard payment: follow the **exact operator's instructions and ticket-desk guidance** for your route.

Step 5: Read four items on the ticket

Match ① route number, ② destination/direction, ③ departure time, and ④ platform. A familiar number can still have a different direction or terminal platform. Show staff “Does this bus stop at [stop name]?” if needed.

Step 6: Check baggage correctly

Place large bags in the hold as directed. Photograph and retain any baggage receipt or claim tag. This guide does not invent a universal piece, size, or weight allowance: check your operator's current rule. Keep passport, wallet, phone, medicine, and electronics with you.

Step 7: Board with a final check

Reach the platform 10–15 minutes early. Match the ticket with the number shown on the vehicle and show the driver or attendant your stop. Use a seat belt when provided and keep small bags out of the aisle.

Step 8: Track your stop

Follow your position on a phone map, but expect traffic to change the ETA. Also watch onboard displays, announcements, and the official stop sequence. One or two stops beforehand, politely ask, “Please tell me when we reach [stop name].”

Step 9: Get off without leaving anything

Prepare one stop early. After alighting, match the luggage tag to your claim receipt. Before the bus leaves, check the seat and luggage area, then reopen the walking route or taxi pickup point to the hotel.

If you miss the bus

Do not board a different route in a panic. Check whether the ticket has a fixed departure, then ask the ticket desk or operator whether it can be used, changed, or must be repurchased. Late-night arrivals

Official airport search includes night routes N6000, N6002, N6701, and N6703. The official night page says tickets are bought at booths/machines, with Tmoney GO used for some K Limousine services. Current example adult fares are KRW 17,000 for N6000/N6002 and KRW 18,000 for N6701/N6703. **Recheck schedules, fares, and sales method immediately before travel.**

Accessibility and asking for help

If you use a wheelchair, stroller, mobility aid, visual/hearing support, or need baggage assistance, contact the airline and chosen bus operator in advance. Do not assume every vehicle or stop has identical access. Ask the airport desk about elevator routes and boarding help, and keep the hotel address and stop name in large text to show staff.

• Assuming every route shares payment and baggage rules

• Booking too tightly without immigration's 1–2 hours or traffic delays
